Well theres not much to be said here at all besides losing 2 straight to Boston and now to the Mets. Now call this weird here but the Phillies havent just LOST all three games, they got MAN HANDLED all three games. Our pitching has just gone out the window the past three games and now the Marlins are within 3 unless we manage to get a grip on the rest of this series we could be looking up again.
Hopefully tonight and tomorrow we can pick up two wins and get something going again here.
Some injury updates here.
Valdez got called back up in light of Jimmy Rollins pulling his calf muscle again, you know that same one that kept him out the first time. Schneider got called back up from the minors after his rehab.
Lidge still on the 15 day
Happ still on the 15 day
Rollins on the 15 day now
Madson still on the 60 day
we need our pitchers to step up and hopefully in the meantime we can continue to hit the ball and maybe just maybe get some runs when runners are in scoring position.
