HUGE win for the Sixers

So as most of us know we are up against the Orlando Magic in the NBA playoffs.  Well we are listed as the underdog but a lot of people feel that we can take this Magic team.  That we are the Kryptonite for Superman (Howard).  Well while we did not hold Superman (Dwight Howard) in check we managed to hold their other 2 big dogs in check.  Lewis ended up with 15 points which is good and Turkoglu was only held to 6 points which was AWESOME!  We were knocking down our threes and played a competitive game.  We were down by 14 points going into the 4th period down by a total of 18 points.  When it was all said and done we were tied up when Howard game down and slammed the ball.  With 26 seconds left in the game.  DelRio calls a timeout with 11.6 on the clock.  He puts it in Izzy’s hands and Iggy pulls a fade-away jumper just past the free throw line and DRAINO!!!!!!  Were up 2 with 2 seconds left.  And thats how it finished.  wow what a Huge game we got here now up 1-0 as we stole a game in Orlando.  Who knows maybe there is a chance?

Andre Iguodala made a 22-foot jumper with 2.2 seconds left, and the Philadelphia 76ers rallied from an 18-point deficit to stun the Orlando Magic 100-98 in Game 1 of their opening-round playoff series Sunday.

Iguodala had 20 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, and Louis Williams scored 18 to help the 76ers beat the Magic for the first time in four tries this season—and when it mattered most. Hedo Turkoglu’s fadeaway 3-pointer missed at the buzzer, and Magic fans stood in disbelief before filing out quietly.

Dwight Howard had a career playoff-high 31 points and 16 rebounds, and rookie Courtney Lee scored 18 for the Magic. Game 2 in the best-of-seven series is Wednesday night in Orlando. -yahoosports.com
