Eagles 2012 Training Camp Schedule

This year training camp for the Eagles will once again be in Bethlehem at Lehigh University.  I have a training camp thread if you have never been to one before and what you should expect or bring.  Its a great experience and more then likely the only time most of you will be on a “field perspective” or from a “field level” with the players.  So again I highly recommend doing it for sure.

Here are the dates to look out for:

Rookies, quarterbacks and injured players are scheduled to report July 22 to Bethlehem, with veterans arriving July 25.

The Eagles’ first preseason game against Pittsburgh is Aug. 9 in Philadelphia. Camp will end Aug. 15.

Practice times and autograph schedules will be announced at a later date, according to the website.

i have VIP tickets to Saturday, August 4th practice….. what time do you suggest getting there? Online it says a walk-thru from 8:30-9:30, and then practice at 2pm. What do i do between 9:30 and 2?

Brent – it all depends on who you plan on going with.

If you plan on going with yourself and friends then please take a look at what I posted in the original training camp thread. Found here – http://www.homeboyznetwork.com/?p=2080

If your going with your children depending on age they have lots of things fun for the kiddos to do on the “other” side of the field. The one year Myself my wife and our 1 (at the time, now we have 3 and a 4th coming) child went and my wife just took our oldest over to the child play area. Kept them entertained while I watched.

Again though you will be going on weekend so unless you want to get there about 1 hr early.

    Remember Saturday Aug. 4: 8:15 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. (autographs defensive line)

But in all honesty unless you want to see guys jog around and act all silly. If this is your first time going dont bore yourself with the 8am sessions. Get there around 1pm and wait for the 2 o’clock session. Later in the day around 3:30pm you should start seeing the hitting.

Then again I never had VIP tickets so Im not sure what that entitles you to. But theres not much to do off campus, theres a casino near by and thats about it, if you have a GPS you can find your way back easily, just save your location in the parking lot on your GPS

Its a great experience and always great to have the feeling they are only feet away from you.

Hope this was useful, enjoy your time brotha!!!
