Well the news so far today in Eagle BuzzLand is that Sheldon Brown who is currently unhappy with his contract and would like a new one, and Chris GoCong are all but gone already. Going to the Browns for what is either a PLAYER or 2 draft picks and a backup player. This is great news because we get another disgruntled player out of here who is reaching that “Eagles age” limit that they hold lol. And also Chris GoCong can go to a defense in which he will be able to do much better in.
The BUZZ that I’m hearing is Sheldon Brown and Chris GoCong for one D’Qwell Jackson (Browns LB) who is a tackling machine but also in a contract year. Read this article on D’Qwell to see why the Browns would be getting rid of him.
Another Theory and this was only a theory that was thrown out there was that the Eagles were going to land Shaun Rogers. Which is not likely we have 2 good DT’s and plus Rogers will most likely be serving a suspension this year for his problems or bump-in with the law. And by that I mean carrying a loaded weapon onto an airplane.
But more about this trade… its pretty much set in stone that Sheldon Brown and Chris GoCong are gone… the question that remains is for who or what. The thought of the Eagles landing D’Qwell Jackson is well just awesome, check out some of his stats and how he has done throughout his career. While this guy is a tackling machine what will then happen to Bradley? Things to think about but for now all speculation
