Eagles locking up 3 more contracts!

Eagles sign have signed third-round defensive end Daniel Te’o-Nesheim to a four-year contract with a total base value of $2.53 million. Te’o-Nesheim received a signing bonus of roughly $740,000, according to a league source. His deal includes the standard base salaries of $320,000, $405,000, $490,000 and $575,000 as well as a fourth-year escalator clause.

Eagles sign QB Mike Kafka to a 4 year deal….details here..
2010: $320,000, 2011: $405,000, 2012: $490,000, 2013: $575,000, 2014: Free Agent

Eagles also sign Clay Harbor to a 4 year deal as well, although Rotoworld has him listed as a RB and the Eagles have him listed as a FB. Either way he should be a special team beast this year for us but I thought that was rather interesting. details here…

My thoughts…
DTN signing is GREAT. I have really heard some good things about him here. He was going against first o-line the other day and I heard that he was making Justice and Peters look like a fool. Now that is either a good thing for him or some alarms for our O-Line. I heard he is so quick on his feet and that he gets to the QB so fast, he is already at football speed. Even heard some talks of the fact that he should be a round 1 talent by the end of his rookie year. Man that would be great if it happened. Time to wait and see how he turns out, but this is a great signing for the birds!

I love the fact the the Eagles are signing all these guys to 4 years at such a low amount, some almost at the league minimum. You never know if these players could turn into studs, kind of like how DeSean Jackson did. Another good two signing on the Eagles part.

Kafka should be a solid PURE BACKUP. As Mike Vick is more of a WildCat / Weapon backup I would almost think that if anything should happen to Kolb that Kafka and Vick would battle quite honestly for that starting position if something like that were to happen.

Clay Harbor will be a SOLID player in the NFL, he will present awesome special team abilities and honestly theres not many positions that this kid cannot play. HB, FB, TE, WR, he even has a lot of experience playing LB and DE. So he should be a great special teams player, look out for his name this year!

Now lets get Brandon Graham, Nate (dawg) Allen, and Riley Cooper signed and were good!
