Finally indeed. The Eagles’ most recent foray into throwback unis didn’t go so well, aesthetically speaking. They did, however, score 56 points in that game, which was pretty gorgeous. Fans have been begging for the return of the Kelly Greens, seeing team after team roll out throwbacks frequently in the past few seasons but nothing for the birds since the Blue and Gold 75th anniversary.
