So after SWEEPING the Mets 3 games

After taking 3 of 4 from the Reds the Phillies decide to sweep the Pirates as well.  Going 9 and 10 before the all-star break.

I tell ya what, what a great performance here from the Phillies.  Coming from a team that has been struggling at home this year so far I think we can finally say that the Phillies home woes are possibly over?  At least we can hope so.  Lets see how the Phillies continue after the break.  But before we can go ahead and and await the next home series we have to battle through this all-star break then fly ourselves down to Florida to open up a 4 game road series against the Marlins.  After that we go back home to face the Cubs for 3 games.  Then we have a make up game from a rain delay against the Padres, just one game.  Finally the next day we start a 3 game series against the Cards.  So after this Marlin 4 game stance we have 6 straight home games.  Should be fun!  Lets keep on rolling here Phillies!
