Phillies win 2 straight to help their cause

Well well what do you know Phillies go into CAN-A-DUH (really I have nothing against Canada just love that spelling) and open up a 3 game series against the Blue Jays.  Losing the first game I just thought great, here we go again.  But that was not the case, not so much at all actually.  The Phillies actually got up off their arse and decided to play some baseball again!  Heres the run-downs

Game 1:  Phillies came out like normal (as of late) scoring 4 banger right out of the first inning.  JA Happ pitched amazing going all nine innings giving up only 5 hits with 0 walks and 4 strikeouts getting the CG.  Ryan Howard went 3-4 while Jason (I proved my) Werth did 1 up.  Werth blasted 2 home-runs while going 4-4.  He did an awesome job to help the Phillies walk away with a 10-0 victory.

Game 2: This one starts the same way… Phillies come out like normal (Phillies of last year) going down early and battling their way back all game long to notch a victory in the W column.  It was a busy first 4 innings and then after that it was a snoozer.  While the Phillies did not hit any homers scoring by the old fashioned way of just knocking the ball around the field the Blue Jays knocked 3 out themselves.  I tell ya this was a game the the Phillies should of lost for sure but they battled back to get the 5-4 win.  Moyer comes in and gets it going, then the bull-pen comes in and keeps it going while Lidge comes in to close it out and pick up the save.  While Ligde did not look AMAZING he still came in and got the job done to pick up that save.  Moyer gets the win!

Lets keep this up Phills, because best of all the Mets have lost 2 straight to the Yankees, and hopefully the Yanks can complete the sweep tonight!
