Well well, it’s about time to get back on track.  As the best Road team in the majors again we prove why.  The Phillies step into Tampa Bay with one goal.  To sit down and get a sweep from the Rays.  Part 1 of 3 has been accomplished.

The Phillies opened up the 1st inning with a 6-0 lead between Utley and Howard getting doubles to score some runs then Mayberry finishing off with a home-run of his own to knock some runs in.  I’ve said it a couple of weeks ago and I will continue saying it.  Moyer this year, seems to be an “every other” pitcher.  One good game, one bad game, one good game, one bad game.  Well he was due for his good game, and he sure cashed in on that.  Going 6 strong with 3 walks and 4 strike-outs.  Giving up only 5 hits and 1 earned run.  That should help his ERA a bit.

Was honestly great to see the bats back in action though.  The Phillies finished with a 10-1 victory over the Rays.

And lets not forget that right now as I am posting this our MOST FAVORAITE METS just lost the game to the Cards.  As the Mets continue to help out our cause.
