The Eagles sold out all of their regular-season home games in about 15 minutes this morning.
The three November division games – against the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins – were gone in under five minutes, according to Leo Carlin, director of tickets and client services.
Single-game tickets went on sale at 10 a.m., for $70 to $95 each plus fees, through Ticketmaster’s website and phone lines, with a limit of four tickets per person.
By 10:15 a.m., only the two preseason games were left.
Tickets have disappeared just as quickly in other recent years, Carlin said.
Fans have other ways to obtain tickets, of course.
The Eagles TicketExchange program lets season-ticket holders resell their seats through TicketMaster. For details, go to www.philadelphiaeagles.com.
Resellers like StubHub.com are popular with fans. At 11 this morning, nearly 800 seats were being offered for the Nov. 1 Giants game – at $144 and up.
Sometimes, the Thursday before a game, the Eagles will make extra tickets available. For home games – these tickets would usually be returns from visiting teams – check Ticketmaster, Carlin said. For away games, call the Eagles at 215-463-5500 to check.
The Eagles aren’t directly involved in any travel packages for away games, Carlin said.
Preseason games. This year, both home exhibition contests are on Thursday nights in August – the New England Patriots on the 13th, the Jacksonville Jaguars on the 27th. Tickets can be purchased by using Ticketmaster.com or calling one of its phone numbers, such as 1-800-745-3000 or the “express” self-service line, 1-866-448-7849.
See team practice at Linc on Aug. 2. New this year is a Sunday night event the Eagles call “Flight Night.” This fund-raiser for the Eagles Youth Partnership replaces the annual carnival, which featured autograph sessions with players. Instead, fans will see the team practice and cheerleaders perform, and get a shot to win prizes or buy player-autographed merchandise. Fireworks will cap off the event. Tickets start at $20 for adults and $10 for children, and are available through Ticketmaster. -philly.com
