This article is going to be very very short because I cannot believe how we can be such a fantastic road team but so horrible at home.  It makes me very bitter.  Phillies have lost back to back games to the Blue Jays while still remaining in first place in their division.  The Blue Jays snapped a four game losing streak coming into Philly (of course right).

Game 1 – Looked as if we were going to win opening up with 1 run in the top of the 1st that surely didn’t last too long.  Hamels didn’t look too bad pitched 6 innings 7 hits 2 walk 6 k’s and 2 earned.  The game went into extra innings with a score of 3-3.  Condrey came in and pitched the top of the 10th and was that ever a mistake.  Giving up 5 runs in that inning to allow the Blue Jays to take a 8-3 lead as that ended up being the final as well.

Game 2 – Did not look any better AT ALL.  Moyer got lit up like a Christmas tree while our offense could not get anything going at all.  As we fall to an embarassing 1-7 loss.  Thanks Jason Werth for bringing in our only run on your home run.  Boy lets home today’s game is not rained out and we can pick up a win here!
