It’s been one of the saddest NFL-related stories over the past couple of years. Eagles coach Andy Reid’s two sons have been in and out of trouble with the law — and thus in and out of jail.The eldest Reid son, Garrett, is now back in jail.
Garrett Reid has been sent to Graterford Prison after an altercation at a halfway house.
“Given the limited amount of information I have, I am very concerned about Garrett and his future situation,” Reid’s lawyer, Timothy Woodward, told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Graterford is the largest maximum-security prison in Pennsylvania. So, basically, Garrett Reid has entered one of the places that most closely approximates Hell on earth.

Well guys, I don’t think you guys know how much this will not only affect Andy Reid, but also this team. I remember when it happened the first time and all the hype about how close Andy was to stepping down. He may actually take a leave of absence. If that is the case, as a fan that really sucks. We have the best looking team that we have had in years and we are already being crowned the kings of the NFC, not to mention favorites to win it all.
Now as a father, I understand what Andy is going through. Having put my own family through something similar during my stupid child days I know what his son is going through. The best thing for Andy to do is to support his family and that specific child as much as possible. Not to mention his other children. I sure hope that Andy and his family and son make it through this struggle. Christian or not believe in a higher power or not we should all say a prayer for his family and his son. I know I will be praying to my savior, my eternal god, tonight for his son and also that whole Reid family.
We (as the Eagles nation) love you Andy, as un-macho as that may sound the truth behind it is no matter how big of a man he may be he still has a heart. God bless you and your family Andy, again you will be in my prayers.
