Well what a game that was lastnight.  If you had a chance to watch it then you had a chance to see the Phillies offense at its best.  Everyone was swinging the bat well even J-Roll had a nice little 2 run rbi double.
Jason Werth (who is HOT right now) Coste and Utley all homered in the game for the Phills.

Hammels was on the mound and got his first win this season from the Phillies.  It was great to see the Phillies produce some runs something they could not do against the Mets.  Hammels lowered his ERA to 6.17 which is still horrible for him and hes very dissapointed in but all that you can hope is to continue to keep getting that number lower.

While Lidge came on the mound in the 9th and ended up giving up 2 homers and 4 runs, which is very unlike him to do the Phillies still picked up the win in this game.  Moved us a half of a game above the Mets and Marlins.

Today at 3:40 we play the Braves yet again, lets home we can pick up another victory.

Shane Victorino went 0-5 lastnight ending his 16 game hitting streak.  Thanks for keeping us plugging along while others were dry Shane!  Time to start a new streak!
