Well the Phillies bats are swinging, but their Pitching is just HORRID.  And from all people Jamie Moyer.  He got light up like a lamp post last night.  Hopefully the Phillies can figure our what is going on real soon.  Hopefully Charlie will bring someone up that will be able to get a spark going in our pitching staff.  Although we were down 7-1 and battled back to make it 7-5 it just was not enough.  And again we fall short to those stinkin Mets.  Regardless it is still a long season and I feel we will finish ahead of them this year.  So don’t get down on yourself don’t get upset, just sit back and smile and laugh at all of your Mets friends sending you txt msg’s because for us its a long season.   And for the New York Chokeopolitan’s its going on normal like every year has!  Were back home tonight to start a 3 game series with the struggling Braves, so lets go ahead and take at least 2 from them then off to LA.

As far as stats are concerned for the game Jimmie Rollins was up top of the 9th with Stairs aboard, who by the way CRUSHED a ball foul (Stairs that is) to the upper deck,  and Rollins popped up for the out.  Rollins went 1-5 and has seen his batting avg slip even more down to .213 now.

Jason Werth had a great night going 4-4 with a HR 2 runs and 2 rbi’s and a stolen base

Ryan Howard went 2-4 with a HR 1 run and 2rbi’s

While Shane Victorino extended his hitting streak tonight again as well!
