Carter Injured for Most of Playoffs

Jeff Carter endured most of the first round series against the Pittsburgh Penguins with a seperated shoulder. Much like the injury, or should I say injuries of Mike Richards, the Flyers refrained from publicizing the injuries to keep the targets off their backs.

This, at least in my mind, explains a lot of the missed opportunites by Jeff (except the one in Game 2, all he had to do was blow on it). When will the Flyers finally get through a series unharmed against these guys?

  1. Between this injury and the Richards injury no excuse, but still I’m sure it had a bit of impact. Richards 3 post knockers in Game 1, I’m sure it would of been a different outcome. Richards and Carter are equal to Rollins on the Phillies. If Rollins is hitting well the rest of the Phills are and you know were in for a good night. I could only of imagined what this series would of been like.

Oh well, lets improve our Defense and we should not have that much more to change. Were close to getting a cup, lets just hope those Red Wings will have been knocked out that year haha.
