Well ladies and gents. Most of you may know that #1 I follow the Eagles to no end. I watch 100% of the Eagles games and know a lot about the players up and coming. I am well you can say a bit obsessed with the Eagles. I would have to say that my second passion hands down would be the Flyers. Its the only other sport besides football that even if my team is not in it I HAVE TO WATCH. Esp the playoffs. Hockey is such a dying sport that personally I feel is getting popular again, esp in this town. Im so happy to see so many hockey fans coming out of the woodwork and whether they know their stuff or not it doesnt matter. Another person watching hockey in my book is A OK!

Game 5 I happen to have the blessed opportunity to purchase tickets. Myself, my brother, his wife and my brother in law all went. The buzz that was in the air even pre-game was just UNREAL. Every Flyer fan in that place just had a sense of “Were going to get this done” on all their faces. It was a try joy and pleasure to be able to experience that. So I’m not going to really get into any details besides saying that Asham should of had a hat trick lol. We all know the outcome and if you come to this site then your already a fan and you have already seen the outcome. Glad I dont have to spoil anything here for you guys lol, at any rate my point of this whole post is simply stating the obvious. The fact that this team battled back to be where they are and now we are facing right at a series in which in 4 games we could be holding the most prized possession in Hockey. Lord Stanleys Trophy. And the thought of that alone just gets me so gitty.

The other reason for this post was to say to you guys that if you were never at a playoff hockey game its something you MUST do. I understand that this is not a normal “playoff” year that the Flyers have gone through and battled. I mean after all we only broke like 4 NHL records, but again the loudness of the Wachovia Center was unheard of. In all my life of going there (which has not been as much as I would like) it was unbearable at times. I could not hear or quite honestly think straight until the next day. And that was without having even but a SIP of beer. I took some videos from my Droid phone so please be advised that the quality is not the best but at least you will get an idea of how magical and how great this City that we a lot of times take for granted. What a great fanbase we have and I love how vocal they are!!
