Wow this is unreal I cannot believe that this happened the Flyers just took GAME 7 from the BRUINS..Lets get this straight, the Flyers were down 3-0 in a best of 7 game series. They clawed back one at a time getting game 4, then 5, then 6 and holy crap now game 7. Leighty was LIGHTS out after the 1st HALF of the 1st period. After taking 2 horrible back to back penalties then giving up back to back goals trailing 2-0 shortly after to add yet another goal 3-0. At this point I’m sure that pit and frustration was boiling in your stomach as it was in mine. I had flashbacks 05-06 seasons in which the Flyers were playing the Senators and battled back and looked like maybe just maybe they might have a chance to bounce back win that game 6 and force a game 7… all they needed to do was win that game 6 and yet got their faces smashed in losing 7-1. Or last year when the Pens romped them in game 6 for a score of 6-0 thats all I envisioned.

But no… our brilliant coach Peter Laviolette called a TIME OUT… now for me I am lucky enough to get both COMCAST and Verses, so I was watching on both networks flipping back and forth. Listening as the CSN was saying if the Flyers could score just 1 goal here it just could be the turning point they need. Meanwhile Vs were saying why call your time-out now? That’s just silly. Well whos the fool now? The Flyers score 4 straight goals after that time-out making it look like the best call that was ever made in playoff hockey. Man what an intense game, your telling me that this team is not CUP BOUND?!?!?! Esp after all the obstacles they had to face along the way and all the nagging injuries they had to deal with all year long. Danny Briere said (and I keep quoting this) a while back this team is BUILT for the Playoffs, all we had to do was get in there and we knew we had a good chance to proceed. ….. Man do they ever.

Great game, stoked and pumped for Sunday to take on the Canadians… LETS GO FLYERS!!!!
