Well Kyle Kendrick finally comes out and has an above sub par game. Lets not kid ourselves to say the last 2 outtings for him were anything else but HUGE dissapointments after his preseason we would be full of lies. Yesterday against a very under-rated Braves team Kyle finally came out with a good outting. Nothing to magical but very solid. Going 8 innings giving up 4 hits 0 runs 2 walks and 2 k’s. A totla of 108 pitches in which 61 of them were called strikes. See what I mean very solid outting.

Phillies were up 3-0 heading into the bottom of the ninth. Madson came in and looked pretty much as if the game was almost over. Key word is almost. Then all hell broke loose. Madson gives up 3 runs in the ninth to get the game tied up. After that Contreras comes in and give up the game losing knocker in the 10th. Well one thing is for sure, this team sure can and does give up a lot of homers. The bull-pen at least!

More reason as to why I cannot wait and only hope that nothing is serious with Blanton / Romero / Lidge. We need those guys back badly, esp Romero and Lidge.

Come on bull pen please do not be the not so needed and unwated crutch on this team. Get your crap together!
