The Seahawks recently swapt draft picks ( their 40th pick in the 2nd round for the Chargers 60th pick and the Chargers 2011 3rd round pick).

This allowed them to gain the Chargers 3rd string quarterback Charlie Whitehurst in the deal.

Well, you say, who the hell cares ? Here’s why you should care. They are paying Mr. Whitehurst a little more than 3rd string money. He is getting 2 yrs and 8m with a 2m dollar signing bonus. This is a signal that Mr. McNabb will not be getting shipped to the pacific northwest anytime this offseason, as they are too high on Charlie’s future to give Donovan the reigns out there in Sea-town in the near future.
