Fellow Philadelphia Sports Addicts…

First and foremost, the intro. My name is Josh. I’m 27 and live in the Seattle, Washington area. I grew up in South Jersey. Even though, I haven’t lived on the east coast in some time, my heart still and will always beat Philadelphia sports. I watched Mitch Williams deliver an 84 MPH meatball to Joe Carter and watched as an entire cities stomach rose to the their collective throats. My television didn’t survive Donovan McNabb’s lethargy against the Pat’s in Super Bowl XXXIX. My entire family cried when we heard of the passing of Richie Ashburn and even more so when we heard of Harry Kalas’s untimely passing. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t remind myself of why I am a Philadelphia sports fan, growing up watching Phillie’s baseball with my grandmother and hearing those magical words, ” that balls outta here “. I have two daughters that watch sports with me religiously and sport little Eagle’s and Phillie’s jerseys. I look forward to bringing in another World Series ring with all of you. Go Phils, Go Birds, Go Fly-Guys. Sixers, please find a way to get John Wall.
