My entire family cried when we heard of the passing of Richie Ashburn and even more so when we heard of Harry Kalas’s untimely passing. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t remind myself of why I am a Philadelphia sports fan, growing up watching Phillie’s baseball with my grandmother and hearing those magical words, ” that balls outta here “. I have two daughters that watch sports with me religiously and sport little Eagle’s and Phillie’s jerseys. I look forward to bringing in another World Series ring with all of you.
