So today the Eagles did a little something…. One Eagle member was re-signed.  One Eagle member restructured and another was traded away.  Lets get down to the bottom of this.

The Eagle that re-signed is WR Jason Avant.  FINALLY a lot say now lets sit down and talk about the deal that was made or the little that we know about it.  All that the Eagles are announcing right now is is that Avant was resigned to a 5 year deal.  Although in this great world of internet this is where we can find things and we found the contract term…

So hey thats a great signing!  Good job here front office.

Now onto the one who Restructured… as we all knew it was going to happen Stacy Andrews sits down and restructures his contract. He  lowered his 2010 base salary from $2.95 million to $1.15 million. Bonus also paid.
Finally the one that we traded…. really… FINALLY Reggie Brown is no longer an Eagle.  Traded away to the Bucs for a 2011 6th round draft pick.  Pretty weak but at the same time just glad to free up that roster spot for someone else.  Reggie Brown was a 2nd rnd BUST.

Whats next?  Who knows theres talks that Eagles are interested in Lendale White / Mike Bell / Thomas Jones.  We will see what happens
