Today the Flyers hit the ice with the Islanders. I marked this game up as a win no matter what basically. Just goes to show you that in sports, you never know the outcome. Without are AWESOME 2nd period this game would of resulted in a big fat check in the Loss column. Simon pulled it off again with the tie-breaker goal in the 2nd to put us ahead 3-2, the score that we ended up winning by. This game was HUGE, for me at least, it stappled our 4th or 5th position. Now all we have to do is hope Carolina / Pens lose so we can get that home ice advantage games 1 and 2 thats a huge way to start off the series. Lets go FlyGuys lets finish off strong and carry this into the playoffs. Im just glad that this game also gaurenteed that we DON’T have to face NJ or should I say Marty Brodeur. We all know how he plays against us in the playoffs.
