Bill’s Peter’s IS available

“The Buffalo Bills, locked in another contract squabble with left tackle Jason Peters, appear no closer to trading him than signing him, according to ESPN.com.

While the Philadelphia Eagles have been mentioned as a potential trade partner with the Bills for Peters, there have been no dicussions between the two teams, according to the report. The report indicates it is doubtful there will be a deal for Peters before the NFL Draft.

One AFC personnel executive said teams interested in obtaining Peters must open the conversation with first- and third-round draft picks. The Bills are looking for a bundle of assets in return for perhaps the best player at football’s second-most-vital position. Those types of proposals haven’t been forthcoming.”

That bit coming from yahoo news. Well if the Bills want a 1st round for Peters and a third then I would have to say our chances of getting him are slim to none. A 2nd round, sure but a first…..come on now what are the Bills thinking?! I guess we will see what their price drops down to the day before or of the trade. I think if he’s available for a 2nd rounder, we will snatch him up in a heartbeat, but a 1st and a 3rd…that’s way too much to dish out.
