Charlie announces that Cliff Lee will start game 1 against the Rockies.  Prior to the All-Star break we would all as its Cole without any doubt.  But since Cliff came here that voice has started to turn a bit.  Glad Charlie make this choice maybe it will also light a fire under Cole’s ass.

Also it seem as if the Phillies are willing to give Lidge the head nod to try it again…. Not quite sure how I feel about this, I’ll let you know if he blows a save thats for sure.  Just don’t know if you want to test that but then again at the same time who else do you have to put in that position that has the experience being there?  Who knows…
