Well I had this one checked off as a loss even if D-Mac was good to go.  Just something about Drew Brees this year scares me.  Im a huge FANTASY FOOTBALL player as is my brother and my wife (I know my wife ROCKS).  I said to both of them prior to drafting if any of us have the chance outside of 4 different running backs to draft Drew Brees then to do it.  Had a hunch about him this year that he would be the QB to beat.  So far it looks like he is.

Anways about the Birds, their defensive line looked poor, not getting enough pressure, although to be honest Drew Brees is the best QB in the league at avoiding the rush, right next to Peyton Manning, and I stand FIRM on that.  Aside from that our offense was not that bad at all, esp with Kolb in under center.  Special teams, wow don’t even get me started, they KILLED us.  It seemed as if there was a flag on every special team play that had any type of meaning to it.  Man what I would give to have John Harbaugh back coaching that “special” team.  Which is what I’m calling them right now because after that performance (not to disrespect the “needy” ppl in the world) they sure are “special”.  If you take away all of those errors, penalties so on and so forth we might of been looking at a one possession game, in our favor or theirs.  But it is what it is, I hope we have the chance to play them again for the NFC championship game, that would be fantastic.

As it stands Saints 1 – Eagles 0.  Lets go birds push forward here going into the bye week.  DMac, dont push it brotha, get better!
