Phillies had a 3 game series with Atl which was HUGE to keep this lead. Phillies take off in the series winning 2-1 while their pitching conintues to look fantastic down the stretch here. Hopefully this is a great sign of things to come.
Phillies also had a 3 game series against the Giants, yet another huge series against a team with the calibre of pitching that they will see in the playoffs. Was nice to see them hold it together and win 2 games out of 3 here as well.
