Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi report that the sides have agreed to a deal that sends Cliff Lee and Ben Francisco to Philly for Jason Knapp, Carlos Carrasco, Jason Donald and Lou Marson. The teams still have to examine medical records for the deal to go through.

is the report.  While a lot of people are saying “ANOTHER LEFTY” in our rotation at the same time do you forget that come October we have Myers coming back, and we also have Pedro coming up.  We still have some more right handed pitchers if needed.  Regardless I do not think that you can ARGUE at all with this deal.  So glad they got it done.  I look forward to seeing Cliff Lee win a world series ring!
