Well the Phillies bats are swinging, but their Pitching is just HORRID. \u00a0And from all people Jamie Moyer. \u00a0He got light up like a lamp post last night. \u00a0Hopefully the Phillies can figure our what is going on real soon. \u00a0Hopefully Charlie will bring someone up that will be able to get a spark going in our pitching staff. \u00a0Although we were down 7-1 and battled back to make it 7-5 it just was not enough. \u00a0And again we fall short to those stinkin Mets. \u00a0Regardless it is still a long season and I feel we will finish ahead of them this year. \u00a0So don’t get down on yourself don’t get upset, just sit back and smile and laugh at all of your Mets friends sending you txt msg’s because for us its a long season. \u00a0 And for the New York Chokeopolitan’s its going on normal like every year has! \u00a0Were back home tonight to start a 3 game series with the struggling Braves, so lets go ahead and take at least 2 from them then off to LA.<\/p>\n
As far as stats are concerned for the game Jimmie Rollins was up top of the 9th with Stairs aboard, who by the way CRUSHED a ball foul (Stairs that is) to the upper deck, \u00a0and Rollins popped up for the out. \u00a0Rollins went 1-5 and has seen his batting avg slip even more down to .213 now.<\/p>\n
Jason Werth had a great night going 4-4 with a HR 2 runs and 2 rbi’s and a stolen base<\/p>\n
Ryan Howard went 2-4 with a HR 1 run and 2rbi’s<\/p>\n
