Flyers had a chance to even this series up and take it back to Pittsburgh and allow fate or whatever it is that you believe in to take it from there. \u00a0But that was not the case, I did not get a chance to watch but the last 7 minutes but from what I heard it was a pretty well called game (sarcasm). \u00a0 At least that’s what I was told, so before you get all mad at me I’m going off what someone else informed me. \u00a0From what I saw there was a nice stick in the face of Carle that did not get called and then when Biron got ran into and the lack of a whistle for interference as well as Richards getting taken down when we were in their zone attacking, other then that…..yeah this series has been sad. \u00a0 Sad by both the Flyers and the Refs, but hey at least we cant say that we didnt have it coming. \u00a0We knew that this team that has waited so long to be good again would be the ones to knock us down.<\/p>\n
All that being said we lost 3-1 and we are now down in the series 3-1 with the Pens having a chance to close it out on home ice on Thursday. \u00a0Carcillo (WHO?!? \u00a0Give me Scottie) scored our only goal. \u00a0From what I’m seeing and hearing everywhere Pens did an awesome job in goal, as Fleury came up with some huge saves. \u00a0Hey guys keep your chins up you had an great season and you know what you need to do to improve to the next level. \u00a0BUILD A DEFENSE! \u00a0Lets try to finish this series out and who know, maybe Flyers can get some luck their way. \u00a0Doubtful but I still had to throw it in there.<\/p>\n
