Well this has been a rough start for the Champions. \u00a0We have not been playing our best ball of late, lucky for us its a long season. \u00a0Last night not only did we lose but Lidge blew a save opportunity. \u00a0I know trust me so I’ll say it again for you. \u00a0Last night Brad Lidge blew a save opportunity. \u00a0We were down going into the bottom of the Eighth when Chase Utley ripped a solo homer. \u00a0Then Rual Ibanez decided to to some awesome base running to then give us the lead 5-4 going into the 9th inning. \u00a0As Lights out Lidge stepped up it was almost a sure bet. \u00a0But for some reason he was really struggling and didn’t look like the Lidge we know, rather the Lidge of the night prior. \u00a0Well to quicken this up Padres tied it in the 9th then took decided to squeeze 4 more runs out of us in that 9th inning for a score of 8-5. \u00a0But as the late great would say, I still have high hopes!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
