“The Buffalo Bills, locked in another contract squabble with left tackle Jason Peters, appear no closer to trading him than signing him, according to ESPN.com.<\/p>\n
While the Philadelphia Eagles have been mentioned as a potential trade partner with the Bills for Peters, there have been no dicussions between the two teams, according to the report. The report indicates it is doubtful there will be a deal for Peters before the NFL Draft.<\/p>\n
One AFC personnel executive said teams interested in obtaining Peters must open the conversation with first- and third-round draft picks. The Bills are looking for a bundle of assets in return for perhaps the best player at football’s second-most-vital position. Those types of proposals haven’t been forthcoming.”<\/p>\n
That bit coming from yahoo news. Well if the Bills want a 1st round for Peters and a third then I would have to say our chances of getting him are slim to none. A 2nd round, sure but a first…..come on now what are the Bills thinking?! I guess we will see what their price drops down to the day before or of the trade.
