Well well, it’s about time to get back on track. \u00a0As the best Road team in the majors again we prove why. \u00a0The Phillies step into Tampa Bay with one goal. \u00a0To sit down and get a sweep from the Rays. \u00a0Part 1 of 3 has been accomplished.<\/p>\n
The Phillies opened up the 1st inning with a 6-0 lead between Utley and Howard getting doubles to score some runs then Mayberry finishing off with a home-run of his own to knock some runs in. \u00a0I’ve said it a couple of weeks ago and I will continue saying it. \u00a0Moyer this year, seems to be an “every other” pitcher. \u00a0One good game, one bad game, one good game, one bad game. \u00a0Well he was due for his good game, and he sure cashed in on that. \u00a0Going 6 strong with 3 walks and 4 strike-outs. \u00a0Giving up only 5 hits and 1 earned run. \u00a0That should help his ERA a bit.<\/p>\n
Was honestly great to see the bats back in action though. \u00a0The Phillies finished with a 10-1 victory over the Rays.<\/p>\n
And lets not forget that right now as I am posting this our MOST FAVORAITE METS just lost the game to the Cards. \u00a0As the Mets continue to help out our cause.<\/p>\n
