So as I said earlier in the year the Eagles would be foolish not to restructure D-Mac and keep him happy.\u00a0 And that is just what they are doing.\u00a0 While you have possibly the best team and your best chance at making it to the Super Bowl its vital to keep your QB very happy.\u00a0 And not the Eagles have done that.\u00a0 They will be re-structuring his contract to make sure that he gets paid the money he is deserved.\u00a0 Hey was going to make close to 9 million this year and almost 10 million next year but now it seems as if between the two years he will make 25 million in guaranteed money.\u00a0 MUCH MUCH better then his old out-dated contract that he had.\u00a0 The Eagles have also talked about not only giving him an a restructure but also trying to EXTEND his contract.\u00a0 McNabb said he wants to worry about his last two years first then worry about the extension in the near future.\u00a0 Who knows maybe McNabb wants to keep the doors open as to say… If this team does well then I will re-sign.\u00a0 You can’t blame him though, he wants whats best for him and his best chance to go to that big game and win a Ring.\u00a0 And let’s be honest here, some of you damn Eagles fans are just plain out jerks to #5, something that he never deserved.\u00a0 So I hope we can get an extension to come in the future.\u00a0 Time will tell.<\/p>\n
