Eagles MLB Stewart Bradley(notes) says he\u2019s close to being 100 percent after missing all of last season with a torn ACL sustained in training camp. His injury forced the Eagles to use six different players to fill his spot on the team, so his return could have a big impact on the defense.<\/p>\n
“All I can do is play my best and I think that should be enough to handle my position,” Bradley told the Philadelphia Inquirer. “I\u2019m not thinking that I\u2019m going to come in, the lights are going to come down, and the defense is going to change or something.”<\/p>\n
TE Cornelius Ingram(notes) also is recovering from a torn ACL and the two became rehab competitors. Ingram compared Bradley\u2019s competitiveness to that of ex-Florida QB Tim Tebow. Both Bradley and Ingram are full participants in the team\u2019s spring workouts.<\/p>\n
“He\u2019s one of those guys that\u2019s passionate and competitive with everything that he does,” Ingram said. “He\u2019s like, \u2018Come on, let\u2019s get some extra reps.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Stew, I just told you I\u2019m dead tired.\u2019 And he\u2019ll be like, \u2018Come on, let\u2019s do one more set.\u2019 “<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
