Well Eric Bruntlett is no longer a Phillie, and if you have been reading what I have been saying then you will see Phills did well here.\u00a0 We needed to Axe him he is a good defensive player but just doesnt cut it when we need his bat.\u00a0 Also why resign him when Fransisco is coming back too?\u00a0 Smart move here I like it and as I predicted…. lets see what happens but I will say it again<\/p>\n
3b – Phillies will get one, I honestly believe they want Beltre or DeRosa which both will Cost some dollars.<\/p>\n
DH – Phillies will look to get someone DECENT to play both sides of the ball here.<\/p>\n
Pitcher – depending on if they feel the next prodical son Kyle Drabek is going to make it happen, I could see Philliy going out there and fullfilling this position.\u00a0 Im not quite sure though that they won’t wait mid-seasons and make a play on Roy Holliday too though, so do not exclude that out of the mix.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Bullpen – Look for the Phillies to go out there and get at least 1 semi-big name in the bullpen area.\u00a0 Maybe a setup guy for Lidge who knows but I feel they will splash some money here.\u00a0 They will prob end up signing or bringing in 2-3 relief \/ setup\u00a0 between the 2.<\/em><\/p>\n Catcher – While we all love CHOOCH (Ruiz for you rookie fans) I believe the Phillies will go out and try to find themselves a good backup catcher, someone better then Bako for sure.<\/em> In other news JA HAPP JUST missed out on the Rookie of the Year award.
