Phillies take game 1 of the NLCS. \u00a0I think every Phillie fan out there will agree to the fact that this is \/ was a HUGE win. \u00a03-1….. thats the odds. \u00a0Every team that wins game 1 goes on to win the series almost 70% of the times, not bad numbers right? \u00a0Phillies allowed some runs but then again they got some too. \u00a0Personally I did not like the strike zone in game one. \u00a0It was all over the place, hopefully game 2 that will change a little bit.<\/p>\n
A couple of other things I did not like at all about Game 1. \u00a0The 5 minute long time-out for a pinch runner. \u00a0Home Plate ump needs to step up and not allow something like that, and I’m very surprised Charlie did not bark something over to them about the time they were taking. \u00a0And I think everyone else felt the same way too about that, even some that were a bit bias towards LA. \u00a0Oh well it happens were all only human.<\/p>\n
The thing that ticked me off the most though was something that a PHILLY player did. \u00a0Cole Hamels, what the hell were you thinking giving Chase Utley a look…I would so bitch slap you off the field if I was Chase. \u00a0I mean really Cole? \u00a0Of your 10 wins this season this defense gave you 8 of them with their great playing. \u00a0You’re record and pitching this year isn’t as good as some think. \u00a0You have no rhyme or reason to do something like that, thats just stupid and you need to apologize and brush that off and move on and prepare for your next start. \u00a0Enjoy the newborn and stop acting like your the only baby, you have one of your own now too.<\/p>\n
